Aaron joined D2E in February 2016 with 9 years lift industry experience.
He completed an advanced modern apprenticeship with a well-established independent lift company covering major lift modernisations, installations and maintenance.
As part of his apprenticeship, Aaron completed an NVQ level 3 lift installation and commissioning, national certificate and higher national certificate in Electrical/Electronic Engineering. After his apprenticeship, Aaron quickly progressed into a senior engineer and was the lead engineer on many major lift projects across the North West including Manchester Town Hall refurbishment and various residential apartment blocks.
Whilst gaining the invaluable on-site engineering experience, Aaron continued his professional development and enrolled at the University of Northampton to study the Foundation degree in Lift Engineering. This covers a mixture of industry approved LEIA modules and university engineering modules completed via distance learning.
In November 2013 Aaron moved to a major lift and escalator company as a senior repair engineer and technical support. During this period he was responsible for managing and completing modernisations, installations, rapid response call outs and fault finding across large national rail, major retailer and housing association portfolios.
Aaron is due to complete the Foundation degree in Lift Engineering in May 2016 and will enrol onto a Masters in Lift Engineering from Northampton University in September 2016 to further expand his knowledge.
Aaron is based in Manchester and will be involved with site audits, writing specifications, project assurance and client reports. He will also be assisting with the management of D2E's northern portfolio which will help to ensure the best possible service to our Clients and have a local representative who can assist with any local sites issues.
