Emma Scott-Miller joined D2E in 2011 as a BSc graduate from the University of Portsmouth.
Since joining D2E, Emma has been involved with all aspects of key account management including; client liaison, technical advice, project management, financial control, contract development, portfolio management, performance reporting, root cause analysis, trouble-shooting, handovers, compliance monitoring, design work, feasibility studies, life cycle planning, asset management, safety improvements and the tender process.
During this time, Emma has gained valuable experience on largely retail and leisure operations, and specifically with lifts and escalators. She has been invaluable within the D2E design team where she is able to identify potential operational issues during the feasibility of retail and leisure new developments or major refurbishments.
Emma is originally from a non-lift-industry background and as such understand her clients need for technical information to be easily portrayed. Since joining D2E, she has completed her FdSc in Lift Engineering at Northampton University and has also undertaken various LEIA modules, Prince 2 Training and LITS safety training which have extended her technical and industry knowledge.
At D2E, Emma is accountable for the service and project delivery for our key retail clients, plus being heavily involved with the marketing, presentation, customer satisfaction, mentoring of new graduates and continuous improvement of service delivery at D2E.
