D2E attend CIBSE Young Engineers tour of Stratford Olympic Park
On the 15th April 2016, three members of D2E’s team attended a CIBSE Young Engineers tour of the Olympic Park, Stratford. The tour, which was led by various individuals who work within the park, aimed to give an insight into how the 560-acre Park is energised, heated and cooled sustainably, to in-fit with the ‘post games legacy’, of further, sustainable development of the Stratford area.
The tour helped our young engineers appreciate and talk more confidently on subjects such as ‘legacy’, sustainability and energy efficient in the various projects we are involved in.
