To celebrate National Women in Engineering day, we take a look at D2E’s longest serving female associate.
From the depths of the ocean to the dizzy heights of vertical transportation, Emma joined D2E 6 years ago after completing a BSc in Marine Biology. Initially working in the technical support team, Emma’s hard work and determination has taken her on a career journey to be the account manager for one of D2E’s largest Portfolio Clients. She has undertaken 5 years of part time distance learning with Northampton University and LEIA culminating in her graduating with an FdSc in Lift Engineering this July. D2E are extremely proud of Emma for achieving her FdSc and are looking forward to celebrating with her at her graduation.
With our industry being largely male dominated, D2E are always striving for diversity and equal opportunities when hiring, as a result 1/5 of the D2E team are women.
