Project Assurance

 It can be difficult to ensure vertical transportation works are completed on time, within budget and to exceptionally high standards.

That’s why at D2E our Prince 2 trained staff are on hand to provide a successful project assurance programme which also covers any environmental, health and safety issues that may arise during a project.

Regular electronic progress reports and project reviews keep meetings – and thus, costs – to a minimum. The finalised project, whether it is a new installation or modernisation/upgrade, is then functionally tested by our experienced engineering staff ensuring all the client’s needs have been met to enable a snag-free handover. We also appraise the completed installation at the end of the warranty period to ensure long-term customer satisfaction.

Rising to 198m and designed by Foster + Partners and Axis Architects, the building will sit at a 45° angle to provide dual aspect views and to enable sunlight to flood the park at the base of the building. There will be cafes and restaurants on the Ground floor and a residents’ club lounge and terrace on the top floors.

Our services as the Façade Access Consultant include the development of an access and maintenance scheme from developed design, through tendering and procurement to installation and handover. As the Vertical Transportation Consultant, our services include acting as the VT consultant to the design team through the design, procurement, constructions and commissioning phases. D2E have developed a BCO (2014) compliant scheme. Following tge completion of this project, D2E were appointed to manage the VT and FAC assets.
