The overriding principle applied at D2E to measure our performance on each project is Client satisfaction. Therefore, our first undertaking following our appointment the lift (elevator) consultant or escalator consultant for any Vertical Transportation (VT) project is to develop a thorough understanding of the Client’s requirements. With this understanding forming the foundation for D2E’s position, we will then proceed to ensure that the Employer’s Requirements are maintained through the entire project process. In addition, we will seek to explore innovative solutions to ensure efficient use of space in the cores, challenge design decisions to ensure choices can be supported for the entire product lifecycle and aim to deliver value for the Client’s money.
D2E have tried and tested experience in providing VT consultancy services for all stages of the RIBA Plan of Work. We have the experience of using our best-practice methods to work on projects ranging from the refurbishment of sensitive, historically important buildings in central London, through to large, domestic and international vertical transportation design for new construction projects in Europe, Russia, the Middle East and the Far East, including super high rise projects. D2E also have a wealth of experience of acting as Principal Designer under the CDM 2015 regulations and in Project Assurance.
