Bill Evans is the founder and Chief Executive Officer of D2E with many years of experience in the lift and escalator industry.

Bill has been in the lift and escalator industry for over 50 years, his vast experience ranges from practical site work through line and staff management positions, culminating in a worldwide Vice Presidents position with Otis Elevator responsible for Product Strategy. With this global role, Bill had responsibilities for new low rise and high-rise product designs as well as escalator innovations. He led the global sales engineering team that supported high and super high rise projects. He chaired Otis’s code and patent committees, was Chairman of the Otis University and was one of the pioneering team that introduced Otis.com.
Bill decided to invest his expertise into starting the vertical transportation consultancy firm D2E in 2003. Bill’s pragmatic approach, strategic insight and focus on customer satisfaction has enabled D2E to grow to the eminent position in international VT consultancy today.
