Kuong Dung is a dedicated Field Engineer, covering field-based work such as auditing, project assurance, surveying as well as office-based work including report and specification writing.

Kuong is responsible for the completion of annual compliance audits for lift and escalators across some of D2E’s most prestigious portfolios and sites. In addition, he carries of troubleshooting, handovers and provides expert technical feedback to D2E’s portfolio team.

Kuong began his career in the lift industry in 2002 when he joined a well-known independent lift group as an Apprentice. Kuong has progressed to become a Senior Service Engineer with the responsibility of managing a service route, consisting of planned maintenance, breakdowns and repairs, as well as responding to emergency callouts. He was responsible for surveying new and existing sites, carrying out the replacement of lift components and various administration including inspections and risk assessment reports.

Education

-          NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation Engineering

-          Statutory Inspection/Thorough Examination Procedures with regards to Lifts (LOLER) and Escalators (PUWER)

-          50+ RoSPA accredited Human Focus Health & Safety modules

-          Undertaking various LEIA modules
