At D2E, Neil is specifically involved in account management which includes contractor liaison, client support, project management, technical advice, financial control, contract management, performance reporting, compliance monitoring, design work, life cycle planning, asset management, safety improvements tender negotiation and contract mobilisation.
Neil’s asset management experience at D2E is mainly within commercial and leisure sectors as an account manager for a prestigious portfolio with the asset value of circa £65 million and providing the project assurance of lift replacement and lift modernisation projects.
With over 31 years of experience in the lift industry; Neil began his career as an apprentice engineer with a major lift and escalator company. He progressed through a variety of roles as an Engineer, working with both lifts and escalators, New Installations Sales Consultant and Project Manager. As a Project Manager working in construction, notable projects that Neil managed include Cardinal Place and BBC White City.
In 2005 Neil moved to another major lift company as a Project Manager in the major projects division. During Neil’s time in this role, Neil was the Project Manager for the Heron Tower project responsible for the design and installation of this project which includes scenic double deck lifts.
In 2013 Neil took up the sales position of Major Modernisation Sales Manager, responsible for major modernisation sales in London. Notable sales include Westminster City Hall, which involved the removal of six single deck lifts to be replaced with six double deck lifts.
In 2019 Neil took up the operational position of Fulfilment Manger for the Midlands Region, responsible for the delivery of maintenance, call backs, repairs and modernisation across the Eastern Counties, Midlands and Wales.
In 2021 Neil led a sales team working as the Modernisation Sales Director for the UK & Ireland.
