Rony Eappen’s role focuses on the facilitation of vertical transportation design from concept to final execution of key major projects. Responsible for assisting key clients with their complex lift projects from a value of £50,000 to £5,000,000, he specialises in people flow, post-construction maintenance strategy and mobilisation of major buildings.
Rony is one of the key personnel at D2E in the development of relationships with stakeholders in Europe, Middle East and Asia. Due to his international exposure, Rony appreciates a variety of designs across various markets and brings the best of these designs into each of his projects.
As well as his responsibilities for major projects, Rony has an integral part in the training and mentoring of graduates who join D2E and assists in their development to become a vertical transportation consultant.

Rony joined D2E as a graduate engineer in 2010 and is now registered as a Chartered Engineer with the Engineering Council and is a Member of CIBSE.
For his first three years at D2E, Rony was involved in the account management for several prestigious London Clients, namely Landsec, BNP Paribas Real Estate and Regent Street Management Direct. During this time, he gained valuable experience in building operations and their interaction with lifts and escalators which he has carried into his role within design.
