Steve Kiss’s role at D2E is as a dedicated Field Engineer, covering field-based work such as auditing, project assurance, surveying as well as office based work such as report and specification writing.
Steve works closely with the Portfolio team as a dedicated engineer to one of D2E’s largest portfolios. He is responsible for completing compliance audits of 700+ across the portfolio each year, as well as using his expert knowledge for troubleshooting and handovers on many notable D2E projects and sites.
With 38+ years in the industry, Steve began his career as an apprentice structural engineer before moving into a role in a lift company. He spent the first 23 years of his career in the lift industry working on installation and modernisation projects. Following this, he has spent the past 14 years as a test engineer.
