Emrecan Soylemez

Emrecan joined D2E in 2026 through our Graduate Programme, where he'll spend the next 12 months developing his technical knowledge and consultancy skills across each of our five specialist disciplines. By rotating through different areas of the business, he'll gain hands-on experience in Vertical Transport, Working at Height, Façade Access systems, and the wider business areas. He’ll work alongside experienced consultants and build a broad understanding of how D2E delivers specialist engineering solutions for clients across the built environment.

Emrecan graduated from Queen Mary University of London with an MEng in Mechanical Engineering. During his studies, he was a Senior Drivetrain Team Member in the Formula Student Society, where he played a key role in the design and development of the vehicle's braking system. This experience strengthened his engineering, problem-solving and collaborative working skills while contributing to the successful delivery of a complex technical project.

As part of the programme, Emrecan will also complete the LEIA Level 3 Introduction to Lifts module, strengthening his understanding of the lift industry and supporting his professional development.

We're excited to welcome Emrecan to D2E and support him as he begins his engineering career. His enthusiasm, technical mindset and collaborative approach make him a fantastic addition to the team, and we look forward to seeing him develop throughout the Graduate Programme.
