Dan Atkinson

As the leader of D2E’s Working at Height Consultancy, Dan drives profitable growth by expanding business streams both domestically and internationally. His responsibilities include market analysis, understanding client needs, implementing effective processes, developing innovative products, and planning resource allocation to ensure exceptional service delivery.

His expertise stems from a distinguished career in the Lift Industry. He began as an Installation Engineer at OTIS (1996–2003), contributing to major construction projects and building a strong foundation in technical skills. He further broadened his experience at London Underground (2003–2005), handling repairs and maintenance in a fast-paced environment.

In 2005, Dan took on the role of Installation Supervisor at Precision Lifts, where he showcased his leadership potential. He later served as Senior Project Manager at KONE (2008–2014), managing complex projects and refining his strategic approach.

He joined D2E VT in 2014 as Key Account/Portfolio Manager, overseeing a portfolio of over 700 assets spanning 4 million sqm nationwide. Over eight years, he successfully managed projects worth £5.3 million, gaining deep expertise in commercial operations. In 2023, Dan was appointed Head of Working at Height and promoted to Associate Director, solidifying his leadership role.

With a multifaceted background and a results-driven mindset, Dan is a seasoned professional dedicated to advancing D2E’s Working at Height Consultancy. His strategic vision, technical acumen, and proven leadership make him a key contributor to D2E’s success in delivering tailored solutions for complex client needs.
