Mark, a vital part of D2E since 2005, became Managing Director in 2020. He oversees D2E's product offerings while fostering client relationships and driving growth. With expertise in Vertical Transportation, Technical Design, Strategy, and Project Management, Mark combines a BA in Business Studies with advanced training from the IOD and IOSH to lead D2E with vision and excellence.
Mark has driven innovation at D2E, leading projects that integrate IoT and developing advanced tools like iPAMS (Portfolio Asset Management System), A2K project Assurance processes, and the 3DPro procurement tool. These initiatives have significantly enhanced the company's efficiency and effectiveness.
Mark's impact reaches beyond D2E into the broader industry. He has served on the HSE Escalator Safety Steering Committee and the British Council of Offices VT Committee. His dedication to safety and industry progress is highlighted by his participation in Channel 5 documentaries on the Lift and Escalator Safety.
He has led significant projects, including overseeing London's largest office space, 40 Leadenhall, for Nuveen and M&G. With over 15 years of experience managing VT for brands like Jonh Lewis and Waitrose, he has also directed the mobilisation of iconic London landmarks such as 100 Bishopsgate, 70 St Mary Axe, Salesforce Tower, and 20 Fenchurch Street (the Walkie Talkie). His expertise in project management and strategic planning is evident in his successful leadership of these high-profile initiatives.
Mark's diverse expertise in governance, client relations, project leadership, and industry advocacy highlights his pivotal role at D2E and his broader contributions to VT, Façade Access, and Working at Height sectors.
