Sumeet Majumdar

Sumeet leads D2E’s operations in India, overseeing the company’s pragmatic approach, strategic insight, and unwavering focus on client happiness, impartiality, and ethics. Based in Mumbai, he is responsible for growing D2E’s presence across the Indian Subcontinent, drawing on his extensive technical expertise and leadership skills in vertical transportation and MEP consultancy.

Sumeet joined D2E in 2025, bringing over 12 years of dedicated vertical transportation experience and a total of 25 years across MEP, power distribution, and building services industries. His leadership is underpinned by a strong track record of delivering client-focused, technically robust solutions. 

Prior to joining D2E, Sumeet worked on a number of landmark projects, including “NEOM – The Line” in Saudi Arabia, where he developed efficient vertical transportation strategies and technical reports for the client and design teams. Other major contributions include the Ministry of Projects in the UAE, the Mall of Dubai, Burjuman Mall, and developments by Emaar, Nabeel, and Amaala, working alongside world-renowned architects such as Foster + Partners, HOK, Gensler, Nikken Sekkei, and Benoy.

In India, Sumeet has partnered with leading developers including Oberoi Realty, L&T Realty, Lodha, Godrej Properties, Runwal, Brookfield, Reliance, and Tata Group, and collaborated with prominent architects such as Ar Hafeez Contractor, SSA, and Reza Kabul. His previous service on the Bureau of Indian Standards (2019–2021) for escalators and lifts has further reinforced his commitment to quality and technical excellence.
