D2E began working in India in March 2025, formally establishing our Mumbai office in September and incorporating D2E India VT Consultants Private Ltd in October 2025. The creation of our India office marked a deliberate step in the continued evolution of D2E, extending our vertical transportation consultancy into one of the world’s most dynamic construction markets.

Based in Mumbai, our team delivers independent vertical transportation consultancy across new developments and existing assets throughout India. This includes advisory services covering lifts and escalators, supported by the same technical standards, governance framework and disciplined methodology developed within our UK practice. From the outset, the office has operated as an integrated part of D2E’s global engineering structure, ensuring consistency, engineering integrity and commercial clarity across every project.

In addition to project consultancy, the Mumbai office serves as D2E’s global production centre, providing coordinated drawing packages and structured production services to all D2E offices worldwide. This integrated model strengthens efficiency, scalability and technical accuracy across vertical transportation projects internationally.
