D2E was founded in the United Kingdom in 2003 as a specialist engineering consultancy focused on vertical transportation, façade access and work at height. It is here that our culture, technical standards and structured approach were established, shaping the principles that continue to define our work today. From our global headquarters in London, alongside our Manchester office and consultants positioned across the country, we support projects and property portfolios throughout the UK. Over the past two decades, we have built a national reputation for independent advice across lifts, escalators and façade access systems within office, mixed use, prime residential, retail and leisure developments. London is also the global hub of D2E, from which we advise on projects internationally, applying the engineering discipline and governance standards developed within our UK practice.
Our work spans complex new build schemes, major redevelopments, turnkey projects and the long term management of existing assets, including strategic portfolio oversight and detailed lift, escalator and BMU surveys.
