Project
Fountain Park, Edinburgh is a retail & entertainment centre, owned by Landsec and managed by Savills, which facilitates; a Cinema, a gym and various restaurants. The building is served by 6 escalators and 4 lifts and is located on Dundee Street, just west of Edinburgh city centre, Scotland.
Challenge
Removal of the existing six escalators provide logistical challenges for this project, however, a solution has been sought to replace all six escalators without removing the façade of the building and whilst the building is in operation.
